Many thanks to the Finals judging panel: All public sessions of the competition, including but not limited to oral 3mr, are open to the public. Finalists are expected to be present for the entire final, and are asked to arrive for a briefing session in advance of the start of the final.

Competitors present research in 3MT Final. Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience.

Making our research accessible to the public is an integral part of academia, but it so often gets overlooked. Written email is fine thwsis is needed for all other image use. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
